TOP 5: Sephora VIB Sale Wish List

It’s that time of year yet again! The Sephora VIB holiday sale is upon us. I can’t believe it’s already November, it feels like it’s been a blink since it was 2019. Last year, I skipped the VIB sale altogether because there were so few products that peaked my interest. This year I’ve been very intrigued by many of the holiday collections brands have released. It makes for quite the dilemma when there’s so much beautiful holiday makeup. I definitely can’t buy everything I want, so let’s narrow down the list to the Top 5 Wish List items I’m considering.

Too Faced – Cinnamon Bear Makeup Set ($39.00 USD/$49.00CAD)

I’ve been eyeing this set since I first saw photos online. I love pink and berry toned eyeshadow, so the Cinnamon Bear set was immediately interesting to me. The set contains 8 eyeshadows, a blush, a full sized Melted Matted Liquid Lipstick and an adorable Cinnamon Bear makeup bag. The value for money with this set is great. A Melted Matte Liquid Lipstick alone is $21.00 USD/$29.00 CAD. The eyeshadow pans in this palette are a bit smaller than Too Faced 18 pan or 8 pan palettes, but that doesn’t bother me too much. Plus, the little bag is so cute! All things considered, I’m definitely going to purchase this set. I’ll use every product included and this little set would be great for travel – (assuming travel is ever a thing again).

Becca Cosmetics – Mini Barbie Ferreira Prismatica Light Essentials Kit ($35.00 USD $47.00 CAD)

I’m not going to lie – I don’t know who Barbie Ferreira is. The name attached is not the reason I’m interested in this set. I’ve always wanted to try Becca highlighters. I’ve heard rave reviews and this set seems like a fun way to try several shades. I never finish full sized highlighters, so in the long run I think minis are probably a better choice for me. The shades included are Champagne Pop (soft, golden with pinky-peach pearl), Vanilla Quartz (light-golden with pink pearl), Rose Quartz (neutral, pale pink with soft, golden pearl). I would love Rose Quartz and Vanilla Quartz, it’s debatable if Champagne pop would be too dark for me. It’s hard to tell just based on internet swatches and I’m so painfully pale. I’m torn between trying the minis and just buying a single full sized highlight. A normal full sized Shimmering Skin Perfector is $38.00USD/$50.00CAD, but like I said, I would likely never use 7 grams of product. I’m still undecided on this set, but I’m leaning towards trying it.

Bite Beauty – Mini Starlit Succulents 3-piece Agave + Lip Care Set (USD $30.00/$33.00CAD)

Just because I’m not going out as much doesn’t mean my lips aren’t getting super dry with the temperature changing. There’s already been several snow falls where I live, so I gotta get my lips winter ready. This set includes an Agave+ Weekly Vegan Lip Scrub, Agave+ Intensive Vegan Lip Mask and an Agave+ Nighttime Vegan Lip Therapy. Each of these products is about $20-$24USD/$30.00CAD at full price. The sample sizes in this set are small, so it’s not a huge value. But, I would like to try some different lip treatments over the winter so I might give this set a go.

Natasha Denona – Mini Zendo Eyeshadow Palette ($25.00USD/$33.00 CAD)

This pocket palette is so cute! I love the peachy and pink shades. I’ve always been drawn to the Natasha Denona mini palettes, but I’ve never purchased one. I’ve had this palette sitting in my cart for weeks. I just can’t decide if I “need” it. I definitely own similar shades, so I’m undecided even though I want it. This palette isn’t terribly priced and I cannot afford the $129.00US/$172.00CAD Triochrome palette I really want. I would use this palette for sure, I really enjoy the look of it. From what I’ve read this is a permanent product, so there’s no particular rush to purchase it. We’ll see if Mini Zendo stays in my Sephora cart or not.

Huda Beauty – Power Bullet Matte Lipstick ($25.00USD/$33.00CAD)

I received one of these lipsticks in the shade First Kiss with my Sephora Favorites:Makeup Must Have Set. I was surprised how much I liked this lipstick because I don’t particularly like Huda Beauty’s eyeshadow formula. These lipsticks aren’t cheap, so I’m considering picking up another shade during the sale. I already know I enjoy the formula, it would be nice to add another wintery matte lipstick to my collection. I’m considering the shades Honeymoon or Pay Day.

I’m still pondering which items to purchase. I’m VIB status at Sephora so, I’m in the 15% off discount category. Rogue Status customers get 20% off and early access and all other Beauty Insiders get 10% off their purchase. The discount isn’t huge, the 15% basically covers the taxes where I live. I can’t go crazy and buy everything, but popular items do tend to sell out during the sale. If there’s something I really want, I will purchase it with the discount.

Are you planning on buying anything during the Sephora VIB sale? If you have any recommendations for products I should be paying attention to, please feel free to let me know.

Stay safe out there,

Kayla
