The wait is over! I finally got my hands on the Melt Cosmetics Digital Dust Duo in Buzz Kill. This product has been out of stock on the Sephora website for months. There aren’t many other ways to access Melt Cosmetics products in Canada, so I had to wait until Buzz Kill came back in stock. I was buzzing with excitement when the notification came in that Buzz Kill was available. Let’s found out if Buzz Kill is as sweet as honey!
It’s that exciting time of month yet again! My Boxycharm April Base Box has arrived and it’s a good one folks. I haven’t done a Boxycharm post in awhile. I got a few boxes I wasn’t pleased with and the shipping was excessively slow. I felt like I was too far behind the eight ball to post my boxes the last couple months. Luckily, my April box arrived quickly! So, let’s jump in and see what Boxy has to charm me with this month.
Spring is in the air! The latest collection from MAC is a breath of beautiful spring air. The Black Cherry collection launched in Asia first, so I was eagerly waiting for it to be released in North America. At long last, I was able to get my hands on the Dilly-Dolly Extra Dimension Blush. This product is stunning! I love the packaging, I love colour, let’s find out if I love wearing it!
Love is in the air! The new sparkly, pink cheek palette from Natasha Denona is here. The limited edition Love Cheek Duo is inspired by the Love Story collection Natasha Denona released in 2020. I was literally in love with this palette from the moment I saw it. I knew I had to have it, but it’s difficult to judge face products online without seeing them in person to colour match. I took a gamble on this one, let’s find out if I’m lucky in love with this duo.
This product is the cutest makeup item I’ve ever seen! The minute I saw this glittery, gold ox highlighter I knew I needed it in my life. This product was released as a limited edition item for Lunar New Year 2021. Clinique released a limited edition Lunar New Year highlight last year too. Though, 2020 was the year of the rat, so it wasn’t quite as endearing. But, the ox – this little guy is adorable to the freakin’ max! Let’s bust this product open and see if it pops like fireworks on Lunar New Year!

I really wanted to try Viseart eyeshadow in 2020. Luckily, Viseart Petite Pro Midsommer palette was under the Christmas tree for me! This little slice of warm midsommer from Viseart is one of the tiniest eyeshadow palette I own – they don’t call it Petite Pro for nothing. Let’s play around with this Midsummer Night’s Dream themed palette. Hopefully, this palette is punching above its weight!
Introducing the Too Faced Cinnamon Bear Limited Edition Eye, Cheek and Lip Makeup Collection. This collection has everything! Adorable embossed bears, cinnamon scented lipstick and a cute little red bag perfect for travel. I’m a big fan of berry tones and pink eyeshadow, so this collection was basically tailor made for me. Let’s find out if this cinnamon themed palette can warm my heart.

This may or may not be the longest name of any holiday set released in 2020. The product name might be long, but the highlighters are miniature. I’ve always wanted to try Becca Cosmetics highlighters, so I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to test out three shades for the price of one full sized. A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away there was a character so adorable he needed his own dedicated eyeshadow palette. ColourPop Cosmetic released the Child palette inspired by the cutest sidekick in the galaxy – Baby Yoda. The second I saw this palette I knew I had to add it to my collection! Let’s find out if this Baby Yoda palette is as lovable as the character who inspired it.
Pumpkin Spice and everything nice! This gorgeous 18 pan palette is filled with warm, Fall shades that make me want a Pumpkin Spice latte stat. This palette does have strong Fall vibes. Despite this, Winter is settling in where I live. Let’s find out if this palette can fight off my winter is coming blues.

I found I was receiving way too many products I didn’t want or use. I decided to give Boxycharm another chance when I saw the products available in the October box. Let’s find out if resubscribing to Boxycharm was worth it.
There are few things I enjoy more than a well put together Sephora Favorites set. When these sets are done well the value for money is fantastic. The latest version of the “Makeup Must Haves” offers a wide range of products from top brands like Nars, Huda Beauty and Urban Decay. I already love some of the items included in this set and the others I was very keen to try. Plus, 4 out of the 8 items included are full size. Let’s find out if this set is a truly great value.
The holiday 2020 makeup session is upon us! With everything going on in the world this year, makeup has been a fun distraction. I’ve been really interested in many of the holiday collections this year. I’ve been enjoying researching products and deciding what I want add to to my collection. There was one collection that caught my eye immediately – the March Jacobs Beauty Very Merry Cherry Collection. I needed to have the gorgeous cherry themed eyeshadow palette in my collection.
