Love is in the air! The new sparkly, pink cheek palette from Natasha Denona is here. The limited edition Love Cheek Duo is inspired by the Love Story collection Natasha Denona released in 2020. I was literally in love with this palette from the moment I saw it. I knew I had to have it, but it’s difficult to judge face products online without seeing them in person to colour match. I took a gamble on this one, let’s find out if I’m lucky in love with this duo.
January 2021 has come and gone. Fortunately, lockdown rules are loosening a bit where I live, so things are looking a tiny bit brighter. I thought it would be fun to share a few favourites things that got me through a quiet, quarantine January. This product is the cutest makeup item I’ve ever seen! The minute I saw this glittery, gold ox highlighter I knew I needed it in my life. This product was released as a limited edition item for Lunar New Year 2021. Clinique released a limited edition Lunar New Year highlight last year too. Though, 2020 was the year of the rat, so it wasn’t quite as endearing. But, the ox – this little guy is adorable to the freakin’ max! Let’s bust this product open and see if it pops like fireworks on Lunar New Year!
It’s that exciting time of month again! My January Boxycharm has arrived. The box I received this month is a great one! Honestly, it might be my favourite box I’ve received ever. I got everything I wanted from the products offered in the January box. So far, 2021 is starting off on the right foot. Let’s bust this box open and see what’s inside!
Queue the excitement! Pat McGrath has announced a new collection. There’s a whole boat load of new ultra rosy products landing just in time for Valentine’s Day. I’m a sucker for pink eyeshadow, so I want everything in this collection. With that said, the Pat McGrath name comes with an exorbitant price-tag, so I’m going to to try my best to resist temptation. Introducing the Too Faced Cinnamon Bear Limited Edition Eye, Cheek and Lip Makeup Collection. This collection has everything! Adorable embossed bears, cinnamon scented lipstick and a cute little red bag perfect for travel. I’m a big fan of berry tones and pink eyeshadow, so this collection was basically tailor made for me. Let’s find out if this cinnamon themed palette can warm my heart.
It’s that magical time of month again! My November Boxycharm Base Box has arrived. I’m a bit late writing this post, but I’m excited to share what I received. The theme of November’s box is harvest. Winter has already settled in where I live, so all the a Fall colours seem a bit out of season for me. Nevertheless, let’s jump into the box and see if there’s a bountiful harvest inside!
This may or may not be the longest name of any holiday set released in 2020. The product name might be long, but the highlighters are miniature. I’ve always wanted to try Becca Cosmetics highlighters, so I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to test out three shades for the price of one full sized. Introducing the Lou Manizer Squad, the adorable four pan highlight palette from the The Balm Cosmetics. This quad contains four beautiful lady-Lou highlights banding together to form one unstoppable squad. This palette caught my attention while I was browsing the makeup section at Winners. Luckily, I scored this palette for only $16.99 CAD. Let’s find out how this fearsome, foursome performs.

I’ve wanted the Born to Run palette since its release last year. The wanderlust design spoke to me on a spiritual level but Born to Run reminded me a lot of the old Vice palettes Urban Decay used to release. I own several of the Vice palettes and I rarely use them. I decided I wouldn’t use Born to Run enough to justify the $64.00 CAD price tag…then it went on sale! The price dropped to $39.00 CAD at Sephora so I decided to indulge my desire to own this travel themed palette. Let’s see how Born to Run performs!

I’m back from Europe and I’m ready to launch back into makeup action. The striking new collection Electric Wonder by MAC Cosmetics was released early in the UK (back in April). Conveniently, London was one of the cities I visited on my trip so I snagged a lipstick from the new collection early! I picked up the gorgeous shade Let’s Mesa Around.
