Boxycharm: April 2021 Base Box

It’s that exciting time of month yet again! My Boxycharm April Base Box has arrived and it’s a good one folks. I haven’t done a Boxycharm post in awhile. I got a few boxes I wasn’t pleased with and the shipping was excessively slow. I felt like I was too far behind the eight ball to post my boxes the last couple months. MAC Cosmetic: Dilly-Dolly Blush Review (Black Cherry Collection)

Spring is in the air! The latest collection from MAC is a breath of beautiful spring air. The Black Cherry collection launched in Asia first, so I was eagerly waiting for it to be released in North America. At long last, I was able to get my hands on the Dilly-Dolly Extra Dimension Blush. This product is stunning! I love the packaging, I love colour, let’s find out if I love wearing it!

Makeup Resurrection: Top 5 Palettes I Need to Use More

I own enough eyeshadow to last until the end of my days. Some products catch my attention and manage to stay at the top of my makeup drawer. Other palettes I only use a few times and they end up ghosted or forgotten. These palettes have been relegated to my makeup graveyard. I want to resurrect these palettes, get them back into my regular makeup rotation and rekindle the feeling of excitement I had when I first purchased them. Let’s take a lot at a few lesser loved palettes in my collection.

Nars: Audacious Lipstick (Augustine) Review

I splurged! I’m not usually someone who purchases expensive lipsticks, but these pretty little butterflies just called to me. I really liked the look of the Nars Claudette collection. Everything is so elegant and pretty, I wasn’t sure what to choose. I decided to go with a taupe lipstick called Augustine. Nars lipsticks aren’t cheap, so let’s see if this lipstick is worth the price.

Natasha Denona: Love Cheek Duo Review

Love is in the air! The new sparkly, pink cheek palette from Natasha Denona is here. The limited edition Love Cheek Duo is inspired by the Love Story collection Natasha Denona released in 2020. I was literally in love with this palette from the moment I saw it. I knew I had to have it, but it’s difficult to judge face products online without seeing them in person to colour match. I took a gamble on this one, let’s find out if I’m lucky in love with this duo.

Queue the excitement! Pat McGrath has announced a new collection. There’s a whole boat load of new ultra rosy products landing just in time for Valentine’s Day. I’m a sucker for pink eyeshadow, so I want everything in this collection. With that said, the Pat McGrath name comes with an exorbitant price-tag, so I’m going to to try my best to resist temptation. Let’s discuss the pros and cons of the Divine Rose Luxe Quad.

Viseart: Petite Pro Midsommer Palette Review

I really wanted to try Viseart eyeshadow in 2020. Luckily, Viseart Petite Pro Midsommer palette was under the Christmas tree for me! This little slice of warm midsommer from Viseart is one of the tiniest eyeshadow palette I own – they don’t call it Petite Pro for nothing. Let’s play around with this Midsummer Night’s Dream themed palette. Hopefully, this palette is punching above its weight!

Pumpkin Spice and everything nice! This gorgeous 18 pan palette is filled with warm, Fall shades that make me want a Pumpkin Spice latte stat. This palette does have strong Fall vibes. TOP 5: Sephora VIB Sale Wish List

It’s that time of year yet again! The Sephora VIB holiday sale is upon us. I can’t believe it’s already November, it feels like it’s been a blink since it was 2019. Last year, I skipped the VIB sale altogether because there were so few products that peaked my interest. This year I’ve been very intrigued by many of the holiday collections brands have released. It makes for quite the dilemma when there’s so much beautiful holiday makeup. I definitely can’t buy everything I want, so let’s narrow down the list to the Top 5 Wish List items I’m considering.

Boxycharm: October 2020 Base Box

It’s that magical time of month again! My October Boxycharm has arrived. This is my first box in 6 months. I cancelled my subscription earlier this year. Sephora Favorites: Makeup Must Haves Review

There are few things I enjoy more than a well put together Sephora Favorites set. When these sets are done well the value for money is fantastic. The latest version of the “Makeup Must Haves” offers a wide range of products from top brands like Nars, Huda Beauty and Urban Decay. I already love some of the items included in this set and the others I was very keen to try. Plus, 4 out of the 8 items included are full size. Let’s find out if this set is a truly great value.

The holiday 2020 makeup session is upon us! With everything going on in the world this year, makeup has been a fun distraction. ColourPop: Pretty Guardian (Sailor Moon) Palette Review

Fighting evil by moonlight, winning love by daylight, never running from a real fight, she is the one named Sailor Moon! So much of my childhood was spent watching this iconic series. I remember having a magic scepter that lit up and made sounds! I wanted to be Sailor Moon as I kid – now as an adult, I can do my makeup like her.
