This may or may not be the longest name of any holiday set released in 2020. The product name might be long, but the highlighters are miniature. I’ve always wanted to try Becca Cosmetics highlighters, so I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to test out three shades for the price of one full sized. Let’s bust open these highlights and see what’s poppin’!
I love makeup value sets, but sometimes it’s debatable how much a set is truly worth buying. Makeup has become such a powerhouse industry and prices are constantly going up. It’s that time of year yet again! The Sephora VIB holiday sale is upon us. I can’t believe it’s already November, it feels like it’s been a blink since it was 2019. Last year, I skipped the VIB sale altogether because there were so few products that peaked my interest. This year I’ve been very intrigued by many of the holiday collections brands have released. It makes for quite the dilemma when there’s so much beautiful holiday makeup. I definitely can’t buy everything I want, so let’s narrow down the list to the Top 5 Wish List items I’m considering.
There are few things I enjoy more than a well put together Sephora Favorites set. When these sets are done well the value for money is fantastic. The latest version of the “Makeup Must Haves” offers a wide range of products from top brands like Nars, Huda Beauty and Urban Decay. I already love some of the items included in this set and the others I was very keen to try. Plus, 4 out of the 8 items included are full size. Let’s find out if this set is a truly great value.
Introducing the Lou Manizer Squad, the adorable four pan highlight palette from the The Balm Cosmetics. This quad contains four beautiful lady-Lou highlights banding together to form one unstoppable squad. This palette caught my attention while I was browsing the makeup section at Winners. Luckily, I scored this palette for only $16.99 CAD. Let’s find out how this fearsome, foursome performs.

Tarte’s Make Every Moment Count is springtime in a palette. This palette contains three beautiful blush shades ready to enhance any spring/summer look. I snagged this palette for a great price ($12.00 USD) as an add-on to my February IPSY Bag . I’ve only tested a few different Tarte face products before, so I was excited to get my hands on these blushes. Let’s find out how this gorgeous blush palette performs!

I was meandering around in my local Sephora when I noticed a value set I hadn’t seen online yet – the ABH Ride or Die Brow Duo set. I’ve always wanted to try out Anastasia brow products but I couldn’t convince to buy something my plethora of brown eyeshadows and an angled brush could do. So when I eyed this set at only a $33.00 CAD price-tag – I was on it like glitter on glue!

bareMinerals Ethereal Nudes is a 6 piece set featuring a variety of neutral shades and finishes. This is my first experience with bareMinerals lip products and I gotta say first times a charm with this set! I love the variety this set provides while keeping all the shades everyday wear friendly. Most lip sets include at least one bold shade I’ll never wear so I was happy Ethereal Nudes keeps it all neutral. 💄
